Mount Tabor & Washington Park Reservoirs Historic Districts
Portland, Oregon
The Mount Tabor & Washington Park Reservoirs Historic Districts include a number of historic municipal buildings, structures, and open reservoirs dating to 1894 for the retention, treatment and distribution of water to Portland residents. These projects involved inventory surveying, assessing, determining historic significance of historic features, rehabilitation recommendations, and prioritization of preservation work. The scope of work included numerous meetings with the adjacent neighborhood, stakeholders, and the water bureau. Subsequent work has included rehabilitation and conservation of the original Gatehouse #1.
